Abba Father, I take You at Your Word today, and I declare that YOU ARE PERFECTING EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS ME! I will not shrink back from Your promise. I dare to believe another day, and I am expecting everything that has been deemed a set-back and/or a mistake to become stepping stones into my manifested promise. I declare that you will use even my enemies to bless me as declared in Deuteronomy 28:7-9.
Father God, ALL my trust is in you today. Undoubtedly, You are good and You mercy are endless and they endure forever. Thank You for using everything in my life including the not-so-good for my good and for Your glory!
Holy Spirit, Whatever I do today, I will choose to keep walking with You! I believe the Lord is moving mysteriously and supernaturally in my life and I unequivocally trust that my expectations in my God will never go unfulfilled. In Yeshua’s life preserving and perfecting name, amen and amen!!
In Isaiah 49:14 the captive and stressed out Jerusalem made the following statement out of desperation; “The Lord has abandoned me, and my Lord has forgotten me.” To this statement, the Lord followed up in verse 15 with a rhetorical question and a declarative promise. The Lord rebutted, “Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I WILL NOT FORGET YOU!”
This passage of text illustrates the greatness of God’s love for us. While it’s extremely rare for a human mother to abandon her newborn baby, we know it’s possible because it happens. But, it is not possible for our Heavenly Father to forget or fail to fully love his children.
Undoubtedly, nearly everyone experiences times in life when they feel utterly alone and abandoned. Through the prophet Isaiah, God makes a tremendously comforting promise. You may feel completely forgotten by every human being in your life, but God will not forget you: “Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.” (Psalm 27:10)
In most cases a mother’s love is often considered the strongest and finest in existence. Well, God’s love transcends even the best this world can offer. In the above passage of text the prophet portrays Israel as a nursing child in her mother’s arms—arms that represent God’s embrace. The child is wholly dependent on his mother and trusts that he will never to be forsaken by her.
God longs to be our main source of comfort in times of loneliness and loss. Isaiah 66:13 confirms that God loves us like a compassionate and comforting mother: “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”
Psalm 103:13 restates that God loves us like a compassionate and comforting father: “The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.”
I hope this word of encouragement bless you today. There is no doubt or question that God’s love for us is inseparable because throughout scripture the Lord says, “I, the LORD, made you, and I WILL NOT FORGET YOU.” (Isaiah 44:21)
Make no mistake…no matter what you’ve done or how far you have strayed from the presence of God; you are deeply loved by God. Isaiah 49:16 says [God] loves us so much that He engraved our names on the palm of His hand. Matthew 10:30 says He loves us so much that He knows how many hairs are on our heads. Psalms 56:8 says He loves us so much that He saves our tears aka speechless prayers in a bottle. Jeremiah 31:3 says He loves us with an everlasting [agape] love.
God’s love is very personal toward you. As I mentioned above, it doesn’t matter where you’ve been, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done, it doesn’t matter what you’ve experienced – God loves you. It doesn’t matter what you have thought about yourself or what other people may have said about you – God loves you. This is what God says about you! You are honored, you are precious in His eyes (Isaiah 43:4).
Most often when the Bible attempts to express God’s love, it makes a beeline for the cross of Jesus Christ. The cross is God’s statement of just how much He loves you. When you think of the immensity of God’s love, the first thing the Bible often asks us to do is to consider the price that was paid….which cost Him everything.
My brothers and sisters the time of His triumphant return is near and if you haven’t said yes to His clarion call, the time is now. Undoubtedly, there is nothing greater than to trust and believe that the God of the universe loves you so much that He would sacrifice everything for you!
There is no chain stronger than Jesus because nothing is impossible with the power of Christ! We find in Luke 18:27 that Jesus, referring to salvation, told those who questioned Him that what is impossible for man is possible with God. I believe the power of God is not just to limited to salvation, but it is also exhibited throughout the sanctification process. The power of JESUS can and will break every chain that binds us. This of course encompasses every sickness, addiction, generational curse, unforgiveness, pride, lust, gossip, hatred, and anything else you can name. Our God is into restoration and not condemnation (Romans 1:17). We may not be a perfect work, but we are a finished work because of the finished work of the cross!
If you or someone you know is bound to an impossible situation always remember there is no chain stronger than the power of JESUS!
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 #BeStrong #TGBTG #GodIsOnTheMove
Please let this message soak in today. With the widespread of so much negativity, it’s kind of difficult to be a source of encouragement in a world filled with some much discouragement.
The overarching reality is that we need each other. In other words, people need people! The Bible says this in Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Look at this way, you never know the true impact you have on those around you. You never know how much someone needed that simple smile you offered as a sign of kindness. You never know how one act of kindness turned someone’s life around. You never how much someone needed that long hug or deep conversation. Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can have the greatest impact in someone’s life.
So don’t wait to be kind. Don’t wait for others to be kind first. You take the reigns and the proverbial bull by the horns! Don’t wait for better circumstances or for someone to change. Just be kind, because you never really know the depths of someone’s pain unless you walk a mile in their shoes.
Operating in the spirit of kindness is a reflection of one of God’s fruit living in you. Galatians 5:22-23 confirms, “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Undoubtedly, spending quality time in God’s presence is essential to our Christian journey. Think about it for a moment, how can you truly know someone if you don’t spend time with them? Well, the same is held true with your relationship with God. If you don’t spend time with God, then how do you expect to know Him.
When Paul said, “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death” in Philippians 3:10, he desired to know Jesus. He wanted to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and sacrifice his life if need be. Paul’s fervent desire was birthed from his unyielding dedication in spending time with the Lord. The more and more Paul spent with the Lord, the more God revealed to him. But, he knew the only way to have that experience was to remain in God’s presence (Philippians 3:10).
Just so you know; according to the Baker’s Biblical dictionary, the most common Hebrew term for ‘presence’ is panim, which is also translated ‘face,’ implying a close and personal encounter with the Lord.
Paul like many others wanted to maintain that close and personal encounter with God because they intimately understood that one moment in the presence of God can heal a lifetime of failure, heartache, and pain. 2 Corinthians 3:17 confirms, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Liberty means freedom. In God’s presence, you are free. You are free over everything that binds you. In God’s presence, you are made whole.
Beloved of God, in His presence, there is fullness of joy. All scripture reminds us that we will have everlasting joy and joy supersedes happiness because happiness is fleeting. You can be happy today but sad in five minutes. However, when you have joy, your house could be burning down to the ground, but you still have joy! You may have more liabilities than assets, but you still have joy! Your marriage may be on the rocks, but you still have joy! You may have a received a bad doctor’s report, but you still have joy! This type of joy only comes from God because we have a Father who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).
When we desire to be in the presence of the Lord, He will draw closer to us. When we prioritize drawing closer to God, God will draw closer to us. His promises are true. But in order to receive the blessing, we have to stay in His presence. (James 4:8, KJV)
Simply put, there is divine covering, healing, peace, deliverance, spiritual growth, and favor in God’s presence.
I invite you to open your Bible today because it’s time for your intimate face-to-face (panim) encounter with God!!
Every prayer is heard by God! The quiet prayers, the loud prayers, the cry out loud prayers, the voiceless prayers, the reluctant prayers, the murmuring prayers, the quiet tear drop prayers, and every intercessory prayer are all heard by God!
I Thessalonians 5:16 commands and encourages all believers to pray without ceasing because fervent prayers possess great power to prevail (James 5:16). In fact, prayer is the most powerful weapon against worry, stress, doubt, anxiety, and fear!
Our prayers connect us with God, strengthen us for the fight, and keep us spiritually grounded. They open a dialogue with Him and reveal things to us we can only learn from Him. “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3). When we’re wrestling with something and feel like we’ve reached a dead end, prayer brings us into the presence of the one who makes a way when there is no way.
The enemy wants to put a muzzle over your mouth because he knows when you open your mouth those audible and non audible words contain the power that will cancel his assignments and destroy every one of his malicious plots and/or schemes!
My brothers and sisters, God has giving us unlimited 10G access to communicate directly to Him. Therefore, don’t let anything or anyone prevent you from speaking out to God and never forget that prayer is the only weapon that anchors you in the place of victory!
