Jesus Sits In The Tension!

“Faith Can Handle The Tension”

Beloved, faith doesn’t deny the tension—it lives in it. We can hold space for both prayer and praise, for weeping and rejoicing, for heartbreak and hope. Life with God isn’t about pretending everything’s fine; it’s about trusting that Jesus sits in the tension with us.

In the Old Testament, Solomon, the wisest king to ever live, reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:4: “There is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.” Solomon wrote these words to teach us that every emotion has its season—and that God is present in them all. We’re not meant to rush through the valley or skip the mountaintop; both reveal His faithfulness in different ways.

And in the New Testament, the apostle Paul writes in Romans 12:15: “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” Paul’s words remind us that faith isn’t isolation—it’s empathy. God calls us to walk with others in both their laughter and their lament, because that’s how we reflect His heart. Even Jesus Himself wept and rejoiced, showing us that divine strength holds compassion and courage together.

So Beloved, it’s okay to cry and still believe. It’s okay to hurt and still worship. You are not weak for feeling both pain and praise—you’re human, and He understands. Jesus, our High Priest, sits with us in the middle of the tension, whispering, “I’m here.”

The good news is that Jesus sits in the tension with us!

Father God, thank You for being with me in both the joy and the sorrow. Teach me to hold space for both prayer and praise, for both tears and thanksgiving. Sit with me in the tension, Lord, and remind me that Your presence is my peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.

God’s Way Is Better!

“Good Intentions, Wrong Methods”

Beloved, sometimes good intentions with the wrong method are still wrong. Doing the right thing the wrong way can cause more harm than help. God doesn’t just care about what we do—He cares about how we do it. A pure heart must be matched with obedience to His ways.

In the Old Testament, 2 Samuel 6:6-7, King David learned this lesson the hard way. When he tried to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem, he did it his way instead of God’s. “When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah… and he died there beside the ark of God.” Here’s the TikTok version of what happened: The Ark was never meant to be placed on a cart or carried by animals; God commanded it be carried on poles by the Levites (see Exodus 25:14–15; Numbers 4:15). David followed convenience instead of obedience, copying the Philistine method instead of God’s. Though David’s intention was good—he wanted God’s presence near—but his method was reckless and careless and as a result a person lost his life. Undoubtedly, faithful obedience matters more than raging enthusiasm.

The New Testament echoes this in Colossians 3:17, where the apostle Paul writes: “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” It’s not enough to do what seems right—we must do what honors Christ. Good motives cannot excuse disobedience.

So Beloved, before you act, pause and pray. Ask not just “Is this right?” but “Am I doing it God’s way?” Because the method matters just as much as the mission.

Father God, thank You for reminding me that obedience is greater than intention. Help me to seek Your guidance before I act and to follow Your ways, not my own. Purify my motives, correct my methods, and let everything I do bring honor to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.

Psalm 91:4 🇯🇲

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
— Psalm 91:4 (NIV)

Heavenly Father,

We lift up the beautiful island of Jamaica, my daddy’s country — the land of strength, faith, and vibrant spirit. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over every home, every family, and every shoreline as this hurricane approaches.

Cover the island under Your mighty wings. Calm the winds, still the waters, and guard my family — my uncle Jaime, my aunt Constance, their children, my cousins, and every loved one near and far. Surround them with Your hedge of protection and let no harm come near their dwelling.

Let Your peace rest upon the anxious, and let Your provision overflow where resources are scarce. Lord, You are greater than any storm — speak “Peace, be still” over Jamaica today. May Your hand of mercy and power rest upon every home and every heart.

We stand on the promise that “the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16, KJV). So we unite our voices and faith, believing that these prayers carry power — to move mountains, calm seas, and bring divine covering over our loved ones and the entire nation.

May this moment remind us that even in the fiercest winds, You are present and powerful. Surround Jamaica with Your grace, comfort the fearful, strengthen the weary, and restore what the storm tries to take away.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray — Amen and Amen!

Pass The Test

“God Will Typically Test You in Three Ways!”

Beloved, God’s testing is not meant to break you but to build you. Every trial has a purpose, and every test reveals what’s in your heart. The way God answers—or delays—your requests often becomes the classroom of your faith.

  1. He gives you what you want immediately and tests your gratitude. Scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Gratitude proves we recognize the Giver beyond the gift.
  2. He doesn’t give you what you want and tests your faith. As 2 Corinthians 5:7 declares: “For we live by faith, not by sight.” Faith is trusting even when the answer is no, believing that God’s way is still good.
  3. He delays what you want and tests your patience. Isaiah 40:31 promises: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Patience matures us for the blessing to come.

So Beloved, if you are walking through a season of doubt or approaching a looming storm but still trusting God, know this—you are passing the test. Put “I trust God” into the atmosphere and shame Satan with your fireproof faith.

Father God, thank You for every test that shapes my faith. Teach me gratitude when blessings come quickly, faith when answers seem withheld, and patience when Your timing is different from mine. Help me to trust You in every storm, knowing that You are preparing me for greater things. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

God Is With You!

“The Lord Will Stand With You and Give You Strength.”

Beloved, when life feels heavy and you feel alone, remember this promise scribed in 2 Timothy 4:17: “The Lord will stand with you and give you strength.” People may walk away, friends may disappoint, and trials may overwhelm, but God never abandons His children. His presence is not temporal nor seasonal—it is eternal and everlasting.

The Old Testament assures us in Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” And in the New Testament, the writer of Hebrews 13:5 gives us this additional assurance: “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” The same God who stood with Isaiah and Paul still stands with us, offering strength for today and hope for tomorrow. BTW, this is the subtitle for my next book, I plan to release in November of 2025!

So Beloved, walk in confidence today. You are never alone, never without help, never without strength, never without hope—because the God of the universes known and unknown unequivocally stands with you and lives in you.

Father God, thank You for standing with me when others cannot and for giving me strength when I feel weak. Help me to lean on Your presence and not my own ability. Remind me daily that Your strength is always perfected in my weaknesses. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.

You’re Not Failing-You’re Fighting!

“You’re Not Failing—You’re Fighting”

Beloved, sometimes the enemy whispers that because you’re struggling, you’re failing. But God wants you to know—you’re not failing, you’re fighting. The very fact that you’re still standing, still praying, still believing, means the Spirit within you is stronger than what’s coming against you.

The Old Testament reminds us in Isaiah 54:17 and El Shaddai said: “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord. The fight is fierce, but so is your favor. God never promised the absence of battle—but He did promise victory through it.

And Paul in the New Testament echoes this truth in 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Paul didn’t say it was easy—he said it was worth it. Faith isn’t about never falling; it’s about never quitting, never throwing in the towel, and never giving up.

So, Beloved— stop judging yourself for being in the “fight”. God never said the weapon wouldn’t be forged; He said it wouldn’t prosper. The presence of resistance means you’re moving in the right direction. Every prayer, every tear, every step forward is a victory in motion. You’re not failing—God is forming something fierce within you.

Father God, thank You for reminding me that struggle is not failure. Strengthen me in the fight and help me see progress even when I don’t see victory unfolding in my situation. Let Your Word be my guide and weapon and Your Spirit my strength. Thank You for fighting for me and through me. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Morning Surrender Prayer!

“Morning Surrender Prayer”

Beloved, some mornings require more than coffee — they require connection. Before you face the world, pause and invite God to take the lead. This prayer is a daily morning surrender—a reminder that when the waters rise, He’s already walking on them……

Father God, I commit my life, my plans, and my entire day into Your hands. Take full control of my steps, my words, and my decisions. Let Your will be done — not mine.

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that without You, I am nothing. Lead my thoughts, my choices, and my actions according to Your perfect plan — from morning until night.

Holy Spirit, fill me with the fruits of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Pour over me Your grace and mercy. Bring restoration to every weary place in my life, and protect me from all hurt, harm, and danger.

O God, when the waters rise and it becomes too hard to wade through, remind me that You alone walk upon the waves. You will reach down and pull me up, because You are always by my side. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise You in advance. Amen.

Healing The Connection!

“A Real Apology Heals, Not Hides”

Beloved, apologies fail not because the words “I’m sorry” are missing, but because they dismiss, minimize, or shift the blame. A real apology isn’t about ending the argument—it’s about healing the connection. God calls us not just to make peace with our words, but to restore peace with our hearts.

In the Old Testament, Proverbs 28:13 reminds us: “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” True repentance doesn’t hide behind excuses—it stands in humility. And in the New Testament, James 5:16 says: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” Real healing happens when we stop defending ourselves and start seeking reconciliation.

So Beloved, the next time you say “I’m sorry,” mean it with more than your mouth. Don’t justify, don’t deflect—own it. Humility builds bridges that pride burns. Healing begins when honesty takes the place of ego, and forgiveness replaces defensiveness.

Father God, teach me to apologize with humility and sincerity. Remove pride from my heart and help me seek true reconciliation, not just relief. Let my words and actions reflect the grace You’ve shown me. Heal every relationship wounded by pride, and let peace flow where division once lived. True Rest!

“True Rest Is Found in the Presence of God!”

Beloved, true rest isn’t found in the absence of chaos—it’s found in the presence of God. We often wait for the storm to stop before we breathe again, but God invites us to rest while the waves are still crashing. His peace doesn’t require perfect circumstances—it flows from perfect trust.

In the Old Testament, God spoke these words to Moses in Exodus 33:14: “The Lord replied, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” After Israel’s rebellion in the wilderness, Moses refused to move forward without God’s presence. He knew no promised land, no blessing, and no success could replace the peace that comes from walking with God Himself. And in the New Testament, Jesus echoes this same truth in Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” True rest is not found in escape—it’s found in encounter.

So Beloved, stop searching for peace and rest in the absence of problems, trauma, and uncertainties. Peace and rest is not the result of control—it’s the result of surrender. When you sit in His presence, chaos loses its power, trauma losses its grip, and your soul finds calm in His unshakable love.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You that true rest is not the absence of chaos but the assurance of Your presence. Like Moses, help me never to move ahead without You. When the noise around me grows loud, teach me to be still and know that You are God. Fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

His Grace Is Enough!

Beloved, when your strength runs out, grace steps in. God’s grace doesn’t just cover your failures—it carries you through them. His grace is not a backup plan; it’s the foundation of everything you are and everything you’ll ever need.

In the Old Testament, the prophet Jeremiah reminds us in Lamentations 3:22–23: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Jeremiah wrote these words in deep sorrow, yet still found hope in God’s mercy. Grace means that every day begins with a new chance—fresh mercy for tired hearts.

And in the New Testament, the apostle Paul declares in 2 Corinthians 12:9: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Paul penned this after pleading with God to remove a personal struggle—a “thorn in the flesh.” God didn’t remove the burden; He revealed the blessing. His grace was—and still is—enough to carry us through our weakness.

So Beloved, stop striving to earn what’s already been given. Grace doesn’t demand perfection—it meets you in your imperfection. His grace is not just enough to forgive—it’s enough to restore, to strengthen, and to sustain.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for Your unending grace. Like Jeremiah, help me to find hope in Your mercy, and like Paul, help me to boast in my weakness so Your strength can shine through me. When I fall short, remind me that Your grace fills every gap. I don’t have to be enough, because You already are. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.
