If you have trusted Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, are you walking with Christ in this newness of life or are you still living like nothing happened? God doesn’t want people who have been saved by the blood of Christ to live a mediocre life. He wants us to live an abundant resurrected life in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 talks about this life when Paul said, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. Old things have passed away and new things have come.” And Jesus calls that life “abundant” in John 10:10 He said, “A thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly”. Now then, I don’t believe Jesus was referring to worldly stuff. However, I do believe that He was referring to things that money can’t purchase i.e. joy, peace, faith, and love. So today remember that God got you! He loves you and desires the best for you! Now unto God who can do so many awe-inspiring things, immeasurable things, things greater than we ever could ask or imagine through the power at work in us. (Eph 3:20)
