C.S. Lewis said, “I believe in Christianity as I believe in the rising sun; not because I see it, but by it I can see all else.” As I walked outside this morning I paused to view the sunrise. God’s Sunrise reminds me of His marvelous creation, love for His people, redemption, salvation, faithfulness, forgiveness, grace, and new beginnings. My home faces east and I have lived on Sunrise Street for nearly 12 years but seldom do I take the time to notice the beauty, stillness, and splendor of God’s awesome display of vitality. Psalm 113:2-3 says, “Blessed be the name of the LORD From this time forth and forever. From the rising of the sun to its setting. The name of the LORD is to be praised. The LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens…” If you missed the Sunrise today try to catch the sunset, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
