Jesus said in Matt 18:3, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.” Do you remember when Peter initially refused to allow Jesus to wash his feet? Jesus responded  in John 13:8, “Unless I wash you, you won’t belong to me.”Peter ‘hurried’ up and said,”Lord, wash my feet, my hands, and my head!” (v9) Peter was dead serious and he wasn’t being sarcastic. His child like response represented humility, unworldliness, simplicity, and teachableness. Like Peter, we too should possess a heart that yearns to live in obedience to Christ. As it stands, heaven is the destination but the main attraction is God’s presence!!
