In I Thessalonians 5:18 Paul writes, “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus” and He also wrote in Ephesians 5:20, “And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Thanksgiving is not a season rather it’s a discipline, a command, and a biblical precept. I get it; when we experience life’s unexpectedness, hardships, and trials it’s difficult to give thanks. However, If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, hope, strength, comfort, and peace. Romans 8:28 confirms that “all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” This is the overreaching umbrella that covers us from the stones this life can sometimes drop on us!
