Contrary to popular teaching, faith is not mental delusion, presumption or self-deception, but a work of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Therefore, God will sometimes takes us into troubled waters NOT to drown us but to test us!

The bible says that Jesus was Holy Spirit led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil! (Matt 4:1) You see, true faith will sometimes bend under fire but it will never break. The good news is that for those who are in Christ, NOThing IS IMPOSSIBLE.
2 Corinthians 4:7-10 confirms, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet NOT distressed; we are perplexed, but NOT in despair; Persecuted, but NOT forsaken; cast down, but NOT destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.”
So today if your faith is being tested make note; untested faith can’t be trusted.
