God dispenses His Grace because of Christ and because we are in Christ we too can be grace dispensers. As Christians, we should seek to show grace in the most unexpected places and in situations where it doesn’t benefit us because that is the essence of grace. Paul wrote in Romans 12:10, “Honor one another above yourselves.” “Live in harmony with one another” (verse 16). “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love” (Ephesians 4:2). If we are to be like Jesus, our relationships may have to change a lot. It won’t be easy, and it won’t happen overnight. It takes time, so we need patience with the process, both in ourselves and in others. We need faith that God will finish the work he has started in us. Rick Warren said, “What gives me the most hope every day is God’s grace; knowing that his grace is going to give me the strength for whatever I face, knowing that nothing is a surprise to God.”
