I’m at the end of my rope! I just can’t go on this way! This ___________is driving me out of my mind. I’m at the end of my tether and I am at wits end. If you have ever felt this way, I got good news for you; you’re not alone. When you are at the end of your rope, you’re actually at the beginning of something good. Jesus said in Matt 5:3, “You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.” Our Father is on one side and our Lord and Savior is on the other, clasping us in a viselike grip. Remember, these are the hands that formed us in their image, that shaped the mountains and oceans and flung the stars into space. Nothing that happens to us in this life “shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:39).
Pray with me:
Father, I thank You for the nail-pierced hands that reached out in love and took me by my hand.
You have led me by Your right hand throughout life.
I trust You to hold me and keep me safe to the end. In Jesus name, amen and amen!
