POWER OF PRAYER!

Too good not to share this story:

Earlier this morning a gentlemen by the name Andrew W. called my office looking for employment. He’s stated that he owned a wallboard company but was looking do something different to earn a more steady stream of income because his girlfriend is now pregnant.

Hearing the desperation in his tone, I asked him if I can make a few suggestions regarding the information he divulges to potentials employers over the phone and he was very pleasantly receptive.

Unfortunately, we are not hiring any new personnel but I asked Andrew if I could pray for him. He said, “Of course.”

Before I prayed, I asked him how did he hear about AHP and he said I was the 13th Company he called as he was making his way down the Google list of construction contractors.

After, we prayed, I asked if he would call me back to let me know if he landed a job and/or just to update me on his job search progress.

30 minutes past and Andrew called me back and said, “You asked me to call you back when I landed a job and I wanted you to know that a company I called earlier just called me back and offered me a position!” Yes, he accepted and he starts this week!

I’m in no way trying to shine a light on me. However, I am in every way trying to shine the light on obedience, faith, and the power of prayer.

I am so excited for Andrew! Wow, Look at God!!!!
