It matters not what you’re going because you don’t have to be afraid about tomorrow because our omnipresent God is already there. I Corinthians 2:9 tells us, “No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.” Fact is the only disparity or ambiguity between today and tomorrow is our own fear. Once we truly learn to put our trust in God, we will no longer be afraid of the things that come against us nor the things we can’t see….like tomorrow. We will be like the psalmist who said with confidence “…let all who take refuge in God be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you” (Psalm 5:11). Yes, we can be at peace today because we know that our God is already in our tomorrow and the day after that and so forth!
Father God, you rule reality, not me and although I am living out my purpose you are in control, and I trust that whatever the outcome, your sovereign will is always aimed at my good because of Jesus Christ. So according to Him, because of your grace in His cross and resurrection, do what You will and give me the faith to trust you in all things including what tomorrow holds. Holy Spirit rest not only in our minds but also in our hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen and amen!
