Prayer Is A Spiritual Transaction Between You and God!

I’ve got good news for you!!! God is getting ready to turn your private prayers into public miracles and life changing breakthroughs!!!

Now that I have got your attention, the real question is do you really believe in the power of prayer?

Charles Spurgeon said, “True prayer is neither a mere mental exercise nor a vocal performance. It is far deeper than that — it is a spiritual transaction with the Creator of Heaven and Earth.”

The answer to the above question is found in one pivotal scripture. In Matthew 18:18-20, Jesus tells us about the power of prayer when he said, “Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

As mentioned by Spurgeon, this spiritual transaction is not a vocal performance. It’s not about what you pray or even how you pray. This spiritual transaction is an act of worship that glorifies God and reinforces your need for Him.

When we choose to believe and earnestly commit to living a prayer life we literally connect with the very source of and purpose for our existence.

Not to mention, prayer is our fiercest weapon against the enemy and all things in this fallen world and let me insert this; prayer is also the only conduit to genuine external and inner peace!

Unfortunately, this power source is far too often overlooked because many people struggle with what to say and they doubt that God is really listening! If I am talking to you, re-read paragraph 5.

1 John 5:14-15 reminds us; “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us — whatever we ask — we know that we have what we asked of Him.”

Still not convinced? Well, there is hope and confirmation found in Psalm 107:28-30. The Psalmist wrote, “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.”

Brothers and Sisters, it’s spiritually imperative for us never to doubt what God can do through our prayers and it’s of equal importance never to forget there is insurmountable power that lies within the walls of that spiritual transaction!
