Word Of Truth!

Please read the caption in the meme below and feel free to share it with others. God isn’t playing with His indomitable, inherent, and immutable word!

Look at this way, if the Bible is not a trustworthy record of God’s commands and love for His creation – without our reinterpreting them – how can we trust it as a trustworthy record of Christ’s Love? If we cannot fully trust the Bible as a flawless record of what God defines as sin, and promises to bring into judgment, we cannot trust it is unerring record of the demands of Christ’s Love!

Unfortunately, we live in a world filled with scam artists on various levels and charlatans. Every day we are confronted with warnings regarding the latest attempts to separate good people from their money and property. In most of those warnings we also find suggestions as to how to protect ourselves from these scams and to keep our resources intact. Perhaps it is time, for those claiming authentic faith in Jesus Christ, to remind themselves of the warnings of His Word given to protect His sheep from the scam-artists of faith. Jesus admonition in Matthew 7:15-16, “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.”

Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”

Brothers and sisters, it’s futile to believe that anyone can rewrite or modify scripture when it was specifically articulated to inspire and provoke change in us!
