Psalm 34:8-10 says, “Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who seek [trust] in the LORD will lack no good thing.”
We can certainly trust in these words spoken by David because Jesus backed them up in Matthew 6:33 by says, “Seek [trust in] the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.”
I don’t know about you, but as for me and my house we will serve [seek] the Lord (Joshua 24:15) because I know that, “Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow (James 1:17).”
The theme or emphasis in this word of encouragement is for you to, “Seek the LORD while you can find Him. Call on him now while He is near (Isaiah 55:6).”
