Never Return Void!

Isaiah 55:11 (NLT) reminds us that we can rely and trust in God’s word. This powerful passage of text says, “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”

The three things that stand out to me from this single passage of text are produces, accomplish, and prosper. It’s not hard to see the evidence of these three things actively and fruitfully working in the life of a faithful believer because even when things are bad they choose to lean one that biblical truth!

Equally, I love how the Message Bible paraphrased this passage and it reads, “Every word that proceeded from My mouth will not return to Me without being fulfilled.” Best believe this means from the first verse written in Genesis 1:1 to last verse spoken in Revelation 22:21!

Beloved, those who heed God’s word will discover that all His promises are ‘Yes’ in Christ and ‘Amen’ to the glory of God (2 Cor 1:20) and everyone who choose to listen to His voice will be blessed beyond imagination, “for eye has not seen and ear has not heard the wonderful things God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Cor 2:9).

Lastly, God’s word is irrefutably true and absolutely dependable. 2 Peter 1:9 also reminds us “The prophetic word is an altogether reliable thing. You would do well if you pay the same attention to God’s Word as you would to a light shining in a dark and murky place – until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”
