Keep Standing!!!

Sometimes staying the course is easier said than done, but I am a living witness that standing on God’s promises is never a waste of time!

To “stand on the promises of God” is not only to possess complete assurance in their fulfillment, but to live one’s life in faithful service to the One who made those promises. God has already fulfilled many of the promises He has made to mankind in the past.

The Bible shows that Abraham believed God’s promise and that the promise was fulfilled through Jesus Christ (Romans 4:1; Gal. 3:5-9, 16-18). God promised to give to Abraham’s seed the promised land of Canaan stating specifically what area the promise included (Genesis 15:18-20). This land promise was fulfilled in the days of Joshua. “And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he swore to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it and dwelt therein” (Joshua 21:43; See also 21:45). Many other examples of God’s fulfilled promises are found in the Bible, but I encourage you to put these 5 promises in your tool box:

☑️Promise #1: God Is Always with Me (I Will Not Fear) …
☑️Promise #2: God Is Always in Control (I Will Not Doubt) …
☑️Promise #3: God Is Always Good (I Will Not Despair) …
☑️Promise #4: God Is Always Watching (I Will Not Falter) …
☑️Promise #5: God Is Always Victorious (I Will Not Fail)

2 Corinthians 1:20 declares that, “For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.”

Beloved, if this message hits home for, I want to encourage you to keep standing and no matter how a situation looks in your life right now, you can always stand firm on the promises of God.

“Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.” 1 Kings 8:56
