Deuteronomy 30:8-10 (NASB) “And you shall again obey the LORD, and observe all His commandments which I command you today. “Then the LORD your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for the LORD will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers; if you obey the LORD your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and soul!
The key to prosperity is obedience! C.S. Lewis said, “Obedience is the key that opens every door.” God has linked trust in him, i.e. faith, with obedience. All of God’s promises are conditioned upon our following His directions. And when we do then God’s promises are that we’ll have success and a life lived to its fullest.
Behind God’s promises is the premise of our obedience to His word. Therefore, if you want the work of your hand to prosper pay close attention to the prerequisite of God’s promises.
My beloved brothers and sisters it’s not a secret; when we follow God’s directions we live longer, lack nothing that is good, live in perfect freedom, have greater wisdom, dwell in peace and security, have success and prosper!
