“Words Heaven Gives”
Beloved, there will be moments when you are called to speak — not because you feel ready, but because truth is required. In those moments, God does not expect you to rely on your intellect, preparation, or strength. He promises to supply what you cannot.
Jesus says in Luke 21:15, “For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.” That promise wasn’t just for the disciples standing before councils — it is for every believer who stands in obedience. When God calls you to speak, He also provides the wisdom to do it.
The Old Testament foreshadows this assurance. When Moses feared his inability to speak, God reminded him in Exodus 4:12, “Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” God has never depended on human eloquence — He has always supplied divine clarity.
Lastly, this point is also echoed in Luke 12:11. Jesus tells His followers not to worry about how to defend themselves, because the Spirit Himself would speak through them. This means your responsibility is obedience — God’s responsibility is effectiveness.
So Beloved, don’t stay silent out of fear. Don’t shrink back because you feel unqualified. If God places you in a conversation, confrontation, or calling, trust that heaven has already prepared your words.
Speak with humility. Speak with truth. Speak with confidence.
Because when God gives the words, no opposition can overpower them.
Pray with me: Father God, give me courage to speak when You call me to speak. Fill my mouth with Your wisdom and guard my heart with humility. Help me trust that when You send me, You also equip me — in Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen!
