“Let Fruit Flow”
Beloved, fruit is not something you force—it’s something that is produced through connection. Too often, we try to manufacture what only God can grow. However, when you stay rooted in Christ, what He places in you will naturally begin to flow through you.
Because of this, Jesus says in John 15:8, “Bear much fruit.” In other words, fruit is the evidence of a life that is connected to Him. And as you continue in that connection, Galatians 5:22–23 describes what that fruit looks like: “love, joy, peace, patience…” These are not traits you have to strive to create—they are the result of His Spirit working within you.
Now, even with that truth, it can be easy to fall into striving. You may find yourself trying harder to be more patient, more loving, or more at peace. Yet, the more you strive in your own strength, the more frustrated you may become. That’s because fruit is not produced by effort alone—it is produced by abiding.
Therefore, your responsibility is not to force the fruit—
it is to remain connected to the source.
As you stay connected, God begins to shape your heart. He softens what was once hardened, strengthens what was once weak, and grows what was once lacking. And over time, what He is doing in you becomes evident through you—because when you are rooted in Him,growth becomes natural.
For this reason, you don’t have to compare your journey to others. You don’t have to rush the process or question the pace. God is intentional with how He grows you, and His timing is always right.
So instead of striving, remain.
Instead of forcing, trust.
Instead of worrying, abide—because when you stay rooted, the fruit will flow.
So Beloved, stay connected—and let God do the growing.
Pray with me: Father God, let my life reflect Your fruit. Help me remain connected to You so that what You produce in me can be seen through me. Teach me to trust Your process and not strive in my own strength. Grow in me what only You can produce— in Jesus name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen.
