It Might Look Different….

God will supply our every need according to His plan for us. There are more than 160 references in the Bible that points to how God provides for us. Reflecting on these promises are key to helping us, especially during seasons of lack. As Philippians 4:19 puts it, “God will meet all our needs in line with the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Sometimes, these things will happen outside of our normal routine when we least expect them, and it will shake things up. Whether we view those things as positives or negatives, these things happen for our betterment, even when we don’t know or understand His plan. God doesn’t want anxiety for us, He doesn’t want suffering for us, He doesn’t want worrying for us, and He doesn’t want harm for us. God in Christ desires for all of us to take possession of our new life in Christ. So today remember, God will always provide for His children although it might look a little different than what we had in mind!

Rejoice!!!

We can define the act of complaining in many ways: sin, a sign of immaturity, a negative mindset, or lack of faith. Either way, when left unattended grumbling can be a character flaw or weakness. Remember the children of Israel? Were they not roller-coaster complainers?! It didn’t matter how many times God came through for them, when circumstances turned for the worst, the people reverted to gripping and belly aching. Sounds familiar? It stands to reason that if habits are learned they can also be unlearned. Yes, we can replace bad habits with good ones. So embark on a campaign to be thankful and look for reasons despite the circumstances to rejoice in everything (I Thessalonians 5:18).

No Sight 👀 Just Faith👣

no dependemos de la vista, sino solo por nuestra fe y fe. Translation: We are not dependent on sight but by our faith and faith alone! 2 Cor 5:6–7 says, “So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight” (ESV, emphasis added). Walking by faith means living life in light of eternal consequences. To walk by faith is to fear God more than man; to obey the Bible even when it conflicts with man’s commands; to choose righteousness over sin, no matter what the cost; to trust God in every circumstance; and to believe God rewards those who seek Him, regardless of who says otherwise (Hebrews 11:6). When we base our lives on the truth of God’s Word, rather than on the popular philosophy of our day, we are going against our natural inclinations. Denying our natural instincts and relying on our spiritual instincts glorifies God! Our faith os not base world standards rather it is based on the unchangeable nature of God’s Word. caminar por la fe (To walk by faith) requires that we tune our hearts to the voice of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s faith-building Word [Jesus] (John 1:1; 10:27; 16:13). So today take the blind leap of _________ (FIB) and choose to live according to what God reveals to you, rather than trust your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5–6).

God Ain’t Done…

Philippians 1:6 says,”And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Is this not good news? Therefore, don’t let past failures dictate your standing before God? I don’t care what the enemy says, we ought to rejoice because we are being made more like Jesus despite our flaws, ignorance, and arrogance! Yes, He takes what is broken and seems to be flawed, and creates masterpieces. No, you are not what you did!  You are not who they say! You will be who God created you to be no matter what! So today remember, when it comes to your life, don’t worry or fret always put your hope in Christ, He’s not done with you yet.

God-Begotten

“The Life-Light was the real thing: Every person entering Life he brings into Light. He was in the world, the world was there through him, and yet the world didn’t even notice. He came to his own people, but they didn’t want him. But whoever did want him, who believed he was who he claimed and would do what he said, He made to be their true selves, their child-of-God selves. These are the God-begotten, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Encouraged?

We all need to be encouraged and although, this is difficult for some to admit, the bottom line is, all of us enjoy applause: whether on the athletic field, the stage, at the job, or in our relationships. We all enjoy being praised. Our confidence is bolstered when a person of authority, or anyone we respect, supports us and is on our side. Getting that pat on the back, or that word of encouragement, makes us want to do even better. Did you know God commands us to encourage one another. Hebrews 3:13 says,“Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called ‘Today,’ so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” Undoubtedly, we live in a broken world where everything calls us toward selfishness and despair. Sin steals joy, our bodies break down, our plans falter, our dreams die, our resolves weaken, our perspective dims. We are promised suffering (1 Pet. 4:12), persecution (John 15:202 Tim. 3:12), and trials of various kinds (James 1:2-3). This is why it’s incumbent upon us to encouraged each other because it conveys hope and it lifts people’s heart toward the Lord (Col. 4:8). It points out evidences of grace in another’s life to help them see that God is using them. It points a person to God’s promises that assures them that all they face is under his sovereign control. So today may the Lord create in us a culture of encouragement and give us the discipline and courage to encourage each other daily!

It’s a Relationship not Religion!

Some people don’t call on God until they have a problem they need God to solve. I heard it said, “God don’t just want weekend visits, He wants full custody!” The true question is “Are you willing to relinquish your all to God”? Often times people find themselves doing life on their own, denying God full custody. Listen, God’s schedule is always open and yes through Christ we have the privilege to call out to Him at any time. We don’t have to wait until we or our loved one experience a life changing circumstance. It is God’s desire for us to allow Him full custody however, we have to open that door to allow Him the opportunity. Once you’ve handed your life over to God, He becomes the navigator; provided you give him total control. Fact is, your cross is your cross and no one can carry your cross but you. Jesus said, Luke 14:27, “And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” We must be active as a Christian M, T, Th, Fri, & Sat and be just as involved as we are on Sundays and maybe an occasional supervised Wednesday Bible Study. II Timothy 2:15 Commands that we study the Word of God to show our self approved. Beloved of God, I speak in love to urge each of you (including myself) to consider in your own lives, does God get weekend visitation or does He get full custody?

Cry Out 2 God!

If a rod can part the Red Sea and a tree can make bitter waters sweet than I know the blood that drip from Jesus’ body from the tree on Calvary’s Hill is able to save, deliver, protect, heal, and restore my life. Did you notice God’s power isn’t necessarily released until there’s a problem. Well in Exodus chps. 15-16, the children of Israel had to cry out to God several times because they faced some major obstacles to say the least! But it was God’s power that delivered them out of each precarious and ominous impasse. Paul had an issue and he had to cry out to God and God’s response was classic! He said in 2 Cor 12:9, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” Did you notice Israel’s deliverance and Paul’s much needed response didn’t arrive until they cried out for help. How many people do you know that refuse to seek help when they need it most? I get it! Some people wait until they’re at their wits end to call out to God! But not me! Psalm 50:15 says, Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me” and Psalm 34:17 says, “The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.” Look-a-here God ain’t got to tell me twice! At the hint of trouble, I am calling on Jesus every time! Beloved of God, crying out to God is an act of desperation and total concentration. It is a fervent expression of faith in God and trust in His goodness and power to act on your behalf. Crying out to God expresses humility, surrender, plea for mercy, helplessness, desperation, and faith in God’s power. So today, Let us be quick to cry out to Him with humility, sincerity, and faith. God “will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them” (Psalm 145:19).

Rest Your Mind!

It’s sometimes a disconcerting truth for many Christians that even though we belong to God through faith in Christ, we still seem to experience the same problems that plagued us before we were saved. All of life’s challenges can often keep us chained to disparity and discouragement. However, in light of asking for God’s blessings, first we must pray and tell the Lord that we hear what He’s saying in John 16:33, where Jesus says, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Then we should ask the Lord to show us how He has “overcome” our problems, our worries, our anger, our fears and our guilt. BTW, it’s imperative not to allow Satan to deceive us into thinking that all our problems are our fault, all our worries will come true, all our anger condemns us, or that all our guilt is from God. The devil is a liar! You mustn’t forget Genesis 50:20! What the enemy uses to hurt you God will use to prosper you! So today remember when we are at our lowest, God is our hope, when we are at our weakest, God is our strength, and when are at our saddest, God is our comforter!

No Perfect People Allowed…..

I don’t know how many scars I have on my body but, I have a few! Some are external while others are internal. These scars remind me everyday that a.) I am not perfect and b.) People aren’t perfect. But God so loved the world that even in our transgressions [lack of perfection] he gave his one and only son to die for us (John 3:16). Therefore God must love imperfect people. In fact, While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). God unequivocally knows that perfect people do not exist and we all have natural and spiritual scars. However, God’s love for us is bigger than our scars!!

The bottom line is that there is nothing you can nor can’t do that will ever make God love you anymore nor any less. He will always love you the same as in the beginning or berashite! So yes, we are all imperfect people equally and unequivocally loved by an all perfect God!
