“Held”

“Held”

Beloved, the future can feel uncertain because we don’t know what’s coming next. We try to plan it, control it, and sometimes even fear it. But what feels unknown to us has never been unknown to God.

Your future is not floating—it’s held.

In the Old Testament, Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God declares, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” Notice—He doesn’t say you know the plans. He says He does.

And in the New Testament, Jesus reassures us in Matthew 6:34 not to worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will take care of itself. Why? Because the One who holds tomorrow is already taking care of you today.

So while you may be asking, “What’s next?” God is saying, “Trust Me.”

You don’t have to carry what God already controls. You don’t have to fear what God already sees. You don’t have to figure out what God has already finished.

The same hands that formed you, are the same hands that are holding your future.

So Beloved, release the anxiety, let go of the pressure, and rest in this truth: Your future is not in your hands.

It’s in God’s hands.

Pray with me: Father God, thank You that my future is secure in You. When I feel uncertain, remind me that You are already there. Help me trust Your plans over my fears, and rest in Your promises. Lead me step by step, knowing You are guiding every part of my life— in Jesus name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen.
