“Stronger Than the Noise”
Beloved, hate often feels louder than love. It shows up quickly, speaks harshly, and demands attention. It echoes through words, actions, and even silence. But do not confuse volume with power.
Just because something is loud does not mean it is strong.
Scripture reminds us in the Old Testament that “a gentle answer turns away wrath” (Proverbs 15:1). Love doesn’t always shout—it often whispers, heals, and restores. It moves quietly, but it moves with authority.
The New Testament makes it clear in Romans 12:21: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Hate may try to dominate the moment, but love determines the outcome. Hate reacts—love redeems.
Hate can wound.
Love can heal.
Hate can divide.
Love can restore.
Hate may feel immediate…
but love is eternal.
So Beloved, when hate is loud around you, don’t match its volume—match God’s nature. Choose love anyway. Speak life anyway. Forgive anyway. Because love is not weak—it is power under control. And in the end, love doesn’t just respond…it wins.
Pray with me: Father God, when hate feels loud around me, anchor me in Your love. Teach me to respond with grace, patience, and truth. Let my life reflect Your heart, not my hurt. Help me overcome evil with good— in Jesus name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen.
