If The Could Tell Us!

“If They Could Tell Us”

Beloved, eternity changes perspective. If the living knew what the spiritually departed know, everyone would give their lives to Christ. Not because of fear alone, but because truth becomes unmistakably clear when time is no longer a factor.

Scripture gives us a sobering glimpse of this reality. In the Old Testament, Ecclesiastes 12:7 reminds us that “the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” When this life ends, ambiguity ends with it. What was once debated becomes revealed. What was once delayed becomes final.

Jesus Himself speaks directly to this in the New Testament. In Luke 16:22–23, He describes the rich man who, after death, suddenly understood what he had ignored in life. The tragedy wasn’t that truth didn’t exist—it was that it was postponed. Eternity didn’t create the truth; it exposed it.

The reality is this: no one who has stepped into eternity wonders if Jesus was worth following. No one regrets surrendering their life to Him. What they wish—if wishes still mattered—would be that they had done it sooner.

So Beloved, don’t wait for clarity that only comes after time runs out. Choose Christ while choice is still yours. Eternity isn’t meant to scare us—it’s meant to awaken us.

Today is not just another day; it is an opportunity to live for God in Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit. We never know when we will take our last breath on earth and our first breath in the presence of Almighty God.

Pray with me: Father God, thank You for the gift of today and the truth of eternity. Help me live with urgency, humility, and faith. Let my life point others to You while time still remains. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen!
