Yes, it’s true God will never lie and He can never fail. Numbers 23:19 confirms; “God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change His mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?” So, why do we ‘faith-walkers’ find it difficult to be ‘risk-takers’? There are several reasons and some are even perhaps valid. However; I believe the number one reason is fear. Fear is not the absence of faith; it’s placing your faith in the wrong things! Jesus was a radical. If you don’t believe me read the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5-7). If you have been reluctant, resistant, or just plain hard-headed in doing what God has called you to do remember; if He called you to it, He will see you through it. God can do anything but fail.
