“Love Will Lead You Back”
Beloved, there are moments in life when we drift—quietly, slowly, sometimes without even realizing how far we’ve gone. It may be through pain, disappointment, sin, or simply distraction. But no matter how far you wander, one thing remains constant:
God’s love never stops reaching.
In the Old Testament, we see this heart in Jeremiah 31:3: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” Notice—He doesn’t push you back… He draws you back.
The New Testament echoes this truth in Romans 2:4, reminding us that “the goodness of God leads you to repentance.” It’s not fear that restores us—it’s love.
That’s the power of God’s love…
- It doesn’t condemn—it calls.
- It doesn’t shame—it restores.
- It doesn’t abandon—it pursues.
Even when you’ve taken steps away from Him, His love is already taking steps toward you.
So Beloved, if you feel distant today, don’t run further—turn back. You don’t have to find your way alone.
Because love will lead you back.
Not your strength, not your perfection, not your effort—only His love.
Pray with me: Father God, thank You for loving me even when I drift. Thank You that Your love pursues me, restores me, and leads me back to You. Help me to respond to Your love and walk closely with You again. In Jesus name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen!
