Love♥️=Forgiveness and Forgiveness=Love♥️

#Love=forgiveness and forgiveness=#love!! Colossians 3:13 says “So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.” This Message Bible paraphrase translation is simply telling us to make allowances for each other’s faults, errors, mistakes, and to forgive anyone that offends you! Let me ask you; how hard is to that? It’s obvious some find it hard to forgive people for the littlest offenses. I don’t know what offense you are holding onto today but just as you were called to love your neighbor, you are also called to forgive your neighbor just as Christ forgave you! Therefore, if you’re trying to lose weigh but you are packing around junk in your trunk, clean it out today and stop harboring dead weight. Forgiveness is the only ‘weight loss’ program where you will receive an immediate return of your investment!

Rejoice In Hope!

The NLT version of Romans 5:3-4 encourages us to rejoice we when encountered difficulties. Paul wrote,“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.” The adverb ‘too’ means also, in addition, and a few of it’s synonyms are beside, also, and furthermore. So Paul was really saying, “#Furthermore, we can #also find a reason to rejoice because patience, character, and praise walks #beside every trial, circumstance, and problem we encounter in our lives.” I believe this is why Paul also told the Thessalonians to rejoice always (I Thess 5:16) and James reminded us to count it all joy when we encounter trials, persecution, and tribulations of any kind (James 1:1). So how do we rejoice in unlikely/unwanted circumstances? Simply put, we rejoice in hope! Beloved of God, when we look into our future, we know that our trials, however difficult, are temporary, and that when all is said and done, God promises to turn every trial we face to our eternal good (Romans 8:28). Make note; true joy is not grounded in personal sentiment or emotions (“I feel joyful”), nor in a stoic resolution to bravely face the future rather, true joy comes only from our salvation, security, and strength in Jesus, the risen Christ!

No Weapon Formed….

God’s decree as paraphrased in

Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬ ‭of the Message Bible will send chills down your spine, “Afflicted city, storm-battered, unpitied: I’m about to rebuild you with stones of turquoise, Lay your foundations with sapphires, construct your towers with rubies, Your gates with jewels, and all your walls with precious stones. All your children will have GOD for their teacher— what a mentor for your children! You’ll be built solid, grounded in righteousness, far from any trouble—nothing to fear! far from terror—it won’t even come close! If anyone attacks you, don’t for a moment suppose that I sent them, And if any should attack, nothing will come of it. I create the blacksmith who fires up his forge and makes a weapon designed to kill. I also create the destroyer— but no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what GOD ’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” That’s right no weapon formed against us will prosper. Glory to God!!!

Do You Lack Vision?!

What is your life’s vision plan? Most people set goals and plan for their future but oftentimes fall short. Why? They forgot the most important ingredient; vision! John Graham said, “A vision is a mental picture of the result you want to achieve—a picture so clear and strong it will help make that result real. A vision is not a vague wish or dream or hope. It’s a picture of the real results of real efforts. It comes from the future and informs and energizes the present.” Vision always comes before creating plans, setting goals/objectives, and making decisions. God said to Habakkuk in Chp.2 V.2 , “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.” A God inspired vision creates inspiration, cause heart palpitations, and most of all, moves us/people to take action! Most religious and secular organizations have a vision statement. However, many individuals and families do not! I have heard it said, “A man without a vision is a man without a future. A man without a future will always return to his past.” Your vision is what you see, but it is also the way in which you see. So today if you lack vision pray and ask God to show you what He wants you to do for His glory and your future!

Prayer

Today’s Prayer

Dear Lord, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom turning us away from the sin that crouches around us like a roaring lion seeking to devour us at every moment…in our doubting and worrying. Today, O God, we stand on Your word and will not be anxious for anything but in our prayers and supplications we will raise our petitions before the Lord our God and Your unwavering peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ. We will not succumb to the enemy’s attack. We will not allow him to have a toehold in or over our lives. We will deny him access to our eye gate, ear gate, mind gate, and mouth gate but we can’t do it apart from You Father God. We can get so tired Lord in this fight and though our backward steps may outnumber our forward steps, we are grateful that our faith-walk is not best measured when we are up but when we are down. We will look at our problems square in the eye and say, my Heavenly Daddy will solve it for us, no matter how strait the gates or big the obstacle that stands between we and our breaththrough because Jesus Christ is and always will be the captain of our fate and the master of our souls. Thank You, Daddy, for always being there for us when we need You the most…in Jesus’ name…amen!

Are Your Lips Still Moving??

Exodus 14:10-14, “As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Now, the Message Bible transliteration of V14 is just a tad bit straightforward; “God will fight the battle for you. And You? You keep your mouths shut!”

Perhaps your Pharaoh is your financial situation. Maybe it’s a medical condition, Satan is attacking your marriage, or an unruly supervisor or co-worker. Beloved of God, the size of your plight doesn’t determine if God will fight on your behalf.

Anything that hurts or harm you, God is acutely aware of it! When these situations occur….pray about it and don’t complain! Some battles God will empower and equip you to fight but when the odds are against you, He will certainly step right in the middle of that calamity! Silence in times of uncertainty in most cases is certainly golden.

Who Can Stop The Lord?!

We all experience highs, lows, twist, and turns throughout our lives. However, it’s critically important that we remind ourselves that nothing can stop God from accomplishing His will, plan, and purpose for our lives. Isaiah 14:27 says, “For the LORD of hosts has planned, and who can stop it?” Paul also reminded us in Philippians 1:6, “[To] be confident that He who begun a good work in us will also bring it to [perfect] completion until the day of Christ of Jesus.” You see our life is not linear and when things go wrong the flesh, the world, and Satan wants nothing more than to deter, distract, and discourage us from moving forward on the path that God pre-paved for our life. David said in Psalm 139:16, “His eyes saw us when we was formless; all our days were written in His book and planned before a single one of them began.” Maybe today your situation is not looking good and things are not going as planned. Maybe your feeling discourage and beat down. Let me encourage you with a scripture that has help me written by Solomon in Ecclesiastes 7:14, “When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad [not so good], consider this: God has made the one as well as the other so that man may not find out anything that will be after Him.” Yes!!! Our God is the Lion, the Lion of Judah. He’s roaring with power,

fighting our battles, and nothing will ever stop the Lord Almighty from accomplishing what He already put into motion!!
