2 Peter 2:9, “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” Peter is not adding years to creation rather he used a figure of speech known as a simile to compare a day to a thousand years. IOW, all things past, present, and future, are ever before God: the delay of a thousand years cannot be so much to Him, as putting off any thing for a day or for an hour is to us. Essentially God is giving us more time to get our lives in order so that we may bring Him Glory before His 2nd coming!

Letting go is not giving up rather it’s giving in to God’s will, plan, and prescribed purpose. Our security in the midst of cataclysmic changes comes from our awareness of God’s incessant presence. We must not forget that He who never leaves us is the same One who never changes. Hebrews 13:8, “God is the same yesterday and today and forever!” So today RELAX and WALK in the light of God’s presence and remember it is He that takes hold of your right and says, “Don’t fear, I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13)

Some times the hardest words to say isn’t saying, “I love you” rather it’s saying, “Thy will be done.”

When your are hit with earthly problems, disappointments, and unexpectedness please remember that you always have the spiritual PROMISE of GOD’S PRESENCE and POWER to see you through. God promises His presence in order to free us from fear in our families, in our jobs (or lack of jobs), in the middle of our marriage messes, with our school stresses, with our health situations, with our friendships, with our finances, problems from our past, worries about the future, or in any other situation (Isaiah 41:10). God ain’t fair weathered; if He said it, He will flip the universes upside down to get it done!

Be of good cheer today because in the end, God wins! So Press on, be courageous and free! Never be held back by fear or defeat. The battle belongs to the Lord, and YES, He has the final VICTORY!!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
It is promised, He shall direct our paths; so that our way shall be safe and good!

#Philippians1:6

If things aren’t going your way, whatever you do, don’t give up! Keep pressing forward and know that God’s direction will never lead you to a place where God’s provision of grace and mercy won’t keep you. When you look back and appraise the affairs of your life, you will find small drops of blood like sweat that will always take you back Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:44). It was in this Garden Jesus faced the biggest decision in His sinless life and God sent an ministering angel to His aid. His spirit was strengthen so that He could reverse what man had done in the first Garden (Matt 26:36-46) and His choice to obey God led to the physical demonstration of God’s love from the cross to the empty tomb! Jesus didn’t give up on you and He is calling you not to give up on Him! So today, trust that God’s provision is always greater than your problems!

Father God, I come to you today to say thank you, I confess my sins, those known, and unknown. Father you know I am not perfect, and I fall short everyday of my life, but I want to take time out to say HALLELUJAH for extending me your undeserving mercy lord and your limitless grace. Thank you for my health, my family, my friends, the roof over my head, food on my table, and everything I have. Thank you for perfecting the good work you began in me and for bringing that good work to completion. Father, you are an awesome God and even if I had a million tongues, arms, and hands I couldn’t praise you enough! But, what I can do is say GLORY HALLELUJAH and thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you! In Jesus’ all worthy of His praises name, amen and amen!

God knew your name before you were formed in your mother’s womb! He established the plan for your life before your mother and father was born. So the million dollar question is does God know what He is doing? Well, the evidence is overwhelmingly clear. Yes! The Lord declared in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Put your hope in the One who has been down with you even before day one!
