DO YOU KNOW GOD?

Do we truly know God? In Matt 11:27 Jesus answers this question, “My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” We know God through Christ who is our Savior and the word of God (John 1:1) Jesus came to redeem mankind and He also came to reveal the Father. It is through Christ Himself—through His life and work, through His sterling example—that we more completely comprehend the Father’s nature and character. Billy Graham once said, “Most of us know about God but the difference is quite different from knowing God.”

THANKSGIVING IS LIKE BREATH!

When you focus on what you don’t have your mind becomes darkened. You unknowingly begin to take for granted life, salvation, flowers, and countless others things God has done for you! Your acuity is literally pinned to what is wrong and “enjoying” life is not an option until whatever the negative circumstance is “fixed”. I Cor 5:18 says, “Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Thanksgiving should be as natural as breathing! You see, when you approach God with thanksgiving in “all” circumstances it confuses the enemy but more importantly the Light of God’s transforming Presence reminds you that He is always with you and that you are covered by the blood of Jesus (I John 1:7).

WE GROW STRONGER FROM OUR STRUGGLES💪🏾

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair; We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)This scripture gives us hope in that we will always supernaturally prevail in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit despite the difficulties and troubles we may encounter throughout our natural life. Martin Luther King Jr. once said,”The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD!

God is infinite and abundantly accessible to us. Therefore, it is impossible for us to have a need that He can’t meet. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we could ever ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work in us.” In order to truly embrace this spiritual truth we must remove the debris and clutter from our minds and hearts. Look at it this way, the only thing God can’t do it fail!

WHEN GOD SPEAKS….

Trust God with everything. I can look back throughout biblical history and not once has God ever failed. God Isn’t weak, deficient nor insufficient! God does not decay, decline, diminish or sink ! He will not omit or neglect, fall short, or disappoint! He will never be insolvent or bankrupt! But, God is all powerful, abundantly abundant, all sufficient, productive & an ever presence !!! The word of God teaches us that God’s word will not go back and God cannot go back on His word! His word = results; period!

EXPECTING GREAT THINGS?

What are you expecting from God? In Psalm 37:25 David said, “I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned or his children begging for food.” I Samuel 12:22 declares,”The LORD will not abandon his people, because that would dishonor his great name. For it has pleased the LORD to make you his very own people.” God is good. Everything He does is good and wonderful. Everything God gives and offers is greater than what the devil offers, so shouldn’t our expectations come from God? God wants to do something outrageously wonderful in your life every moment of every day. But you have to be ready and expect it to happen. Today is your day to start believing something good is going to happen to you! God is working in your life right now, and when you get your breakthrough, it will be the result of what God has been doing for a long time. Whether you see it or feel it or not, keep praying and expecting because God is longing to be gracious and good to you.

His Breath🌬

Breath is crucial to our existence. When it is present, it comes with hope, opportunity, and potential. When that breath is the very breath of God, something even greater happens. Did you know the amount of air we breathe over a lifetime weighs about 300 tons? In Luke 23:46 Jesus breathed what they thought was His last breath. “Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When He had said this, He breathed his last.” But wait! Look at it this way, Jesus started His life with the same breath He committed His spirit and it was the same breath that resurrected Him from that borrowed tomb! The Spirit of God is the breath of God. And God’s spirit brings us to life. He empowers us for our purpose and he points us to Jesus. Without the breath of God and the blood of Jesus coursing through the veins of the church, the body dies and the runner falls short of the finish line.

EVERLASTING ARMS

Before your eyes opened this morning God had already arranged the events of your day. Now, all you have to do is trust that He is able to see you through! Remember, “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are His everlasting arms.” (Deut 33:27)

Take Heart❤

When you try to work things out before the time you lose sleep, time, and energy. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.” You must accept the limitations of living 1 day at a time. When something goes wrong ask God if it’s part of His agenda and if it isn’t release it into His capable hands. This allows you to focus on Him and when you focus on His PRESENCE, many of the things that once troubled you lose POWER over you! Remember John 16:33, Jesus said you would experience some issues but take heart or be confident because He has overcome the world!

GOD GIVES AND GIVES AND GIVES!!!!

We serve a God that gives and gives and gives. He spared no cost in redeeming us from hell. He held nothing back as He poured out His life like a drink offering (Phil 2:17). Giving is inherent to God’s nature and He searches for people who are receptive and attentive to receive His glorious blessings in full measure. It’s time that we all open up our innermost being so that we can be filled with His abundant-more than enough blessings. God owes us nothing but He freely gives to us because that just who He is!
