If we would only remember to look up to God, it would be more difficult for us to look down on God’s people! Contrary to economic demographics and classes no one is greater than the other. In the eyes of God we are all equal!! In Galatians 3:28 Paul said, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” It’s clear, God is not partial. Christ died for all because He loved us all….the same!

In Micah, He is the Promise of peace. In Nahum, He is our Strength and our Shield. In Habakkuk and Zephaniah, He is pleading for revival. In Haggai, He restores a lost heritage. In Zechariah, He is our Fountain. In Malachi, He is the Son of righteousness rising with healing in His wings and today I am a witness and recipient of His limitless healing, mercy, and grace. So today, lift your hands, eyes, and hearts to God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!!. Give Him a “TRI-PARTY” praise for being the same today, as He was yesterday, and will be forevermore!!

Yes, it’s true God will never lie and He can never fail. Numbers 23:19 confirms; “God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change His mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?” So, why do we ‘faith-walkers’ find it difficult to be ‘risk-takers’? There are several reasons and some are even perhaps valid. However; I believe the number one reason is fear. Fear is not the absence of faith; it’s placing your faith in the wrong things! Jesus was a radical. If you don’t believe me read the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5-7). If you have been reluctant, resistant, or just plain hard-headed in doing what God has called you to do remember; if He called you to it, He will see you through it. God can do anything but fail.

In Isaiah, He is the Prince of Peace. In Jeremiah, He is the weeping Prophet. In Lamentations, He is the cry for Israel. Ezekiel, He is the call from sin. In Daniel, He was the unexpected Stranger in the fire. In Hosea, He is forever faithful. In Joel, He is the Spirits power. In Amos, He is the Arms that carry us. In Obadiah, He is the Lord our Savior. In Jonah, He is the whales’s belly and today He IS the same as He was yesterday and will be forever! So today; like yesterday pick one that He is to you and allow Him to permeate and resonate it in the inner core of your being!!

Ezra, He is the true and faithful Scribe. Nehemiah, He is the Master Rebuilder of broken walls and lives. In Esther, He’s Mordecai’s courage. In Job, He is the timeless redeemer. In Psalms, He is our Morning Song. In Proverbs, He is wisdom’s cry. In Ecclesiastes, He is the time and season. In the Song of Solomon, He is the lover’s dream and today is the same today as He was yesterday and will be forevermore. If I can pick one just for today; I would select the God in Nehemiah. Why; because He is rebuilding me out of brokenness and He gave me a new life. Martin Luther said, “God creates out of nothing, therefore, until a man is nothing, God can make nothing out of him.” So today, I challenge you to pick one just as I did and give Him praises for what He is to you!

In Genesis, He’s the Breath of life. In Exodus, He is the Passover Lamb. In Leviticus, He’s our High Priest. In Numbers, He is the Fire by night In Deuteronomy, He’s Moses’ voice. In Joshua, He is salvation’s choice Judges, He is the Law giver. In Ruth, He is the Kinsmen-Redeemer. First and second Samuel, He is our trusted Prophet. In Kings and Chronicles, He’s sovereign above all and today He is the same as He was yesterday, and will be forevermore!! If you need a reason to shout, read it again BUT add one word after “He is”. e.g. He is MY Breath of Life, He is MY Kinsmen-Redeemer and so forth!! Hallelujah and praise God 🙌

We don’t need a major problem to call on a major God! We can call on our major God (THANK YOU JESUS) even when we are experiencing minor problems! When we bind love, faith, and trust; God will always move for His glory and in our favor! So today don’t wait till it gets worse; call out to Him for everything because our major God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all human comprehension!!’

Let’s be honest, our dilemma is not the test, trial, or tribulation rather it is not knowing the end result at the beginning of the test, trial, or tribulation. IOW, we often get frustrated because we are not omniscience. Fact is we will never possess this incommunicable attribute however; we can choose to lean on the One that knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end. Brothers and sisters, if every mountain was smooth you could never climb it! So today remember don’t fret or worry. [You may not have all the answers.] Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ [steps into the center] and displaces worry at the center of your life. (Phil 4:6-7)

As God’s children it’s incumbent upon us to live our faith out loud by stepping out of our comfort zone; in lieu of saying, “I’ll pray for you”, stop what you’re doing and pray for that person. Pray aloud! I get it, sometimes it can be unnerving to pray publicly because the first question that pops in your head is, “what do I say?” Don’t worry about the words because God will give you the words to say. If you feel God tugging you to offer an encouraging word; just do it! Don’t worry about if the person will receive it. If God said to do it; trust and believe something great will happen. Check out what God said to Jeremiah just before his prophetic reign in Chp. 1:9, “Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put my words in your mouth!”
