DIVERSIFY YOUR PORTFOLIO

When we invest in stuff we win or lose. However,  when we invest in people we always win.  Robin Williams once said,  “You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, you’ll win, no matter what the outcome.” So today stop focusing on your savings,  IRAs, 401ks, and/or stock portfolios rather ask yourself who have I invested my time,  talent, and treasure with over the last 30 days?  Watch this, we demonstrate our love for God by investing our time,  talents, and treasures in God’s people.

The human spirit is more powerful than we ever imagine however,  it requires nourishment. In order for any plant or vegetation to grow it must have soil,  water, and sunlight.  As it is in the Kingdom Plantae so it is with the human spirit. We too need to be nourished with worship, praise,  prayer, work, play, friendship, and family. So today remember these are the things that matter most.

TOUCH AND AGREE

Posted on August 13, 2014 by #4GIVEN

I like most people need prayer everyday. Therefore,  let’s all touch and agree that God will heal, deliver, and bless us. He is intimately familiar with our every need and because we know this we declare and decree His limitless grace,  undeserving mercy,  and unshakeable peace in and through our lives!  We thank Him in advance of the miraculous  healing, deliverance,  and countless blessings!! We ask this by faith in Jesus’ life restoring name!!

A HIDDEN WORD

Posted on August 12, 2014 by #4GIVEN

Jeremiah 17:9, “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” Ok, with that said, I think it would be safe to opine the heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart. So how do we fix it? We’ll in short the only way to fix it is by depositing God’s word. The fact is sin can be compared to bad debit and if you are familiar with credit repair then you will understand why most lenders advise folks with bad credit to reestablish good credit. As Christians we know that we can’t earn grace however; we can freely receive grace. Romans 10:17 says, “Consequently, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” So today let God’s word be a light and a lamp. Hide His word in the deepest crevices of your heart so that you are in -line and in-step with God’s favor, will, plan, and purpose for your life.

NO POWER IN HELL CAN STOP HIS LOVE

Posted on August 8, 2014 by #4GIVEN

How much does God loves us? Let’s find out…..He loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. He did this because God IS love — this infinite and perfect love is far greater than any love that we can imagine. So today know that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

GOD IS SOVEREIGN

Posted on July 28, 2014 by #4GIVEN

God’s sovereignty, as I am convinced the Bible teaches it, means that God has fore-ordained everything that happens. Before creation, God planned and decided (“ordained”) the entire course of human history down to the smallest details. All circumstances in time are therefore the outworking of God’s plan which He decreed in eternity before the beginning of time. Clearly, God’s sovereignty does not remove the need for and reality of our choices however, my rhetorical question is why do we try to understand with a finite mind that which is infinite? Truth is, we inadvertently and subconsciously want control. Control in it of itself fosters a false sense of safety and security. Proverbs 3:5 says to trust God with our whole hearts and don’t depend on our own understanding. So today, I encourage you to trust God even when it don’t make sense. Trusting God requires obedience and as we know obedience is better than sacrifice. If you or someone you know is experiencing some difficult times, remember that God loves you/them and His sovereignty will always bring you/them safely to Him!
