I Want it Now!!

What happened to embracing patience? People nowadays are always in a rush and I am not referring to roadway driving aka road rage. Patience is not just a ‘one-and-done’ event; it’s a lifestyle-a fruit of God’s spirit (Gal 5:22). How many of you yell at your computers or smart devices just because it runs a millisecond slower than usual? The demand for instant results continues to seep into every corner of our lives, and not just virtually.

The Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project summed up a recent study about people under the age of 35 and the dangers of their hyperconnected lives with what sounds like a prescription drug warning: “Negative effects include a need for instant gratification and loss of patience.”

It’s sad to say but we’ve come to expect things so quickly that people can’t wait more than a few seconds for a video to load. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to living a life that is more productive rather than counter productive.

The reality of life is simply; things take time! Patience is not only a virtue-it’s grace. Patience is not just about waiting for something… it’s about how you wait, or your attitude while waiting. I am making a concentrated effort to practice patience, will you join me in living out this fruit of God’s spirit?!

Perfected In Weakness💪🏾

Jehovah O’saynu (our maker), I know that I have little strength and that in my own power I would fall apart – but I praise Your name that Your grace is sufficient for all my needs – that Your power is made perfect in my own weakness, sickness, and loneliness.

Jehovah Tzidkaynu (our righteousness), I long for the power of Christ to rest and remain in me – to dwell richly in me, so that like the apostle Paul I can even rejoice in my weakness because Your power is upholding and sustaining me every step of the way.

El Shaddai (all sufficient) I thank you and praise Your holy name for the perfect power is Christ that is made perfect in me. I wouldn’t know strength if were not for your limitless grace or mercy! Thank you El Chaiyai (God of my life) in Jesus’ name, I pray amen and amen!

#Glory2Glory

When we see jaw dropping awe-inspiring aspects

of nature we often correlate that beauty with God’s glory. However, technically speaking God’s glory isn’t an aesthetic beauty nor a material beauty. It is the beauty that emanates from His character, from all that He. In the human/earthly sense, glory is a beauty or vibrancy that rests upon the material of the earth (Psalm 37:20, Psalm 49:17), and in that sense, it fades. But the reason it fades is that material things do not last; much like a beautiful sunset. God is in an elite class all by Himself and His glory will never fade away! He has infinite perfections, greatness, and value! Isaiah 6:3 says that angels cry out , “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty. The whole earth is full

of His glory!” Imagine if you were a fly on the wall in that room👀!! Isaiah 43:7 says that God created us for His glory. In context with the other verses, it can be said that man “glorifies” God because through man, parts of God’s glory can be seen in things such as love, worship, selflessness and so forth—things belonging to God that we are carrying “in jars of clay” (2 Corinthians 4:7). Bottom line is that God’s glory is super awesome and if we can take in awe-inspiring glimpses of His glory standing on this dirt, imagine what the fullness of His glory will like standing on the streets of gold. If you are excited about that experience join me in saying amen!!

Changed From The Inside Out!

Did you know the world we live in will try everything in its power to suck the life out of you? Why?! Well because this world wants nothing more than for us to conform to it’s accepted ideas, beliefs, and behaviors whereas God desires that we become transformed into the image of His Son, our Messiah! In the Message Bible Paul said in Romans 12:2, “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” So what will it be for you? Will you conform or will you be transformed? Transformation is the only way to prove that which is good, acceptable and perfect, will of God!

Set Free In Christ!

In Christ the hovering cloud of darkness converts to a pillar of light guiding, navigating, and transforming us into His image. Paul wrote in Romans 8:1-2, “With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.” Thank you Father God; we don’t have to shoulder the heavy burdens of our past mistakes, mishaps, nor missteps because in Christ we are set free from the law of sin and death. I don’t know about you but that’s more than enough reason to give God the praise, glory, and honor He so rightfully deserves!! If you are a child of God and He has done the same for you, will you join me in worshipping the God of your salvation?!

Unashamed

Paul said in Romans 1:6, “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes–the Jew first and also the Gentile.” Beloved of God, when we get to heaven, we’re not going to answer to people about how we spent our time here on earth nor about how we chose to exercise our gifts. We don’t answer to people rather we are going to answer to God. Our eternal destiny is too important to let people control what we say or do in our decision to propel the good news gospel! The choice is ours! The question is will you join me in boldly standing for a cause that transcends both time and space? All God needs is our yes and He will take care of the rest!

My One Request‼️

Welp, that’s a wrap! I agree with David and like him, I too, am asking GOD for one thing, only one thing and that is to live with him in his house my whole life long. I’ll contemplate his beauty; I’ll study at his feet (Psalm 27:4). Who’s with me?!

Will You Meet Us There??

I invite everyone to meet me at the foot of the cross. In Matt 11:28-30 Jesus said, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” David reminded us in Psalm 55:22 to, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be shaken.” Can you believe it? We are 6 days into the 3rd month of 2018 and it seems like problems and burdens have been raining down much like the weather we’ve been experiencing. Hence, the reason for my invitation. You know, the Lord doesn’t want to see us beaten down. He wants to do more in our lives but he requires unobstructed access. It’s incumbent and imperative for us to follow the letter of the scriptures ⬆️ above and lay ALL our burdens down ⬇️ at the foot of the cross so that He can remove every form anxiety, fear, sickness, lack, and doubt in our lives. I don’t know what problems or burdens you’re facing but as for me and my house, we are headed to the foot of the cross, will you meet us there?

We Got Work To Do!!

“Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.”

God Is Worthy!

“One day spent in your house, this beautiful place of worship, beats thousands spent on Greek island beaches. I’d rather scrub floors in the house of my God than be honored as a guest in the palace of sin. All sunshine and sovereign is GOD, generous in gifts and glory. He doesn’t scrimp with his traveling companions. It’s smooth sailing all the way with GOD -of-the-Angel-Armies.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭84:10‬ ‭MSG‬‬
